    butter, room temperature
  • 1 c
  • 1 tsp
  • 7 c
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 2
    egg yolks
  • 1/4 c
    honey, heated
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    cloves (optional)

How to Make Greek honey dipped cakes


  1. Mix all ingredients together. The dough should be just soft enough to roll into small balls and place on cookie sheets. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.
  2. When cookies are bakes, heat 2 lbs. of honey and 1/2 cup water in saucepan and dip cookies in honey and roll in finely chopped nuts.
