Golden Sweet Cornbread
If you like a sweeter cornbread, then this recipe is for you. It's so easy to make and always turns out perfectly!
It's delicious with chili, slathered with butter and honey, or just by itself.
How to Make Golden Sweet Cornbread
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray 9 inch round cake pan (or square works!) with non stick cooking spray.
- In large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt and baking powder. Stir in egg, milk and vegetable oil until well combined. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
