How To Make french breakfast muffins

1Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease you muffin pan. Mix thoroughly shortening, sugar, and egg. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg alternating with milk. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 20-25 minutes.

2Topping: mix the sugar and cinnamon. Immediately after baking roll the muffins in melted butter, then in cinnamon-sugar mix. Serve hot.
