  • MUFFIN MIX
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • TOPPING
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter

  • Mix the shortening, sugar, and egg.

    Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease the muffin tins. Mix the shortening, sugar, and egg.
