How to Make Dianne's Raisin Bread
- Soak raisins in boiling water in bowl at least 3 hours. In mixing bowl blend shortening, sugar, egg, salt, molasses and vanilla. To this add flour and baking soda and stir(do not beat)until dry ingredients are moistened. Add raisins and the water.
- Turn into greased loaf pan and bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.
