I know there are tons of Banana Nut Bread Recipes. This one I have done for years and just one day put it all together and wow was it awesome. I have neighbors, friends and family begging me to make it, including my kids.

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter or margarine, room temperature
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 large ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup pecans, in pieces, coarsley chopped
How To Make banana pecan bread

Step 1Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9"x5" bread pan. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg. Sift Flour and baking soda together, and add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Fold in bananas, vanilla and pecans. Pour mixture into pan.

Step 2Bake 55-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for about 10 minutes.

Step 3Recipe makes 1 loaf so I double mine for 2 loaves.
