Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 - egg
- 2 - eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- 2-1/4 cup flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make cream cheese filled nut bread

Step 1Combine cream cheese, sugar and 1 egg and beat well. Set aside.

Step 2Beat remaining 2 eggs in mixing bowl until frothy. Mix in cooking oil, milk and lemon rind.

Step 3Measure remaining 6 ingredients into a separate bowl. Mix well. Pour all at once into egg-milk mixture. Stir until moistened

Step 4Spoon 1/2 batter into greased 9 X 5 inch loaf pan. Spoon on cheese mixture. Cover with remaining batter by dropping small spoonfuls here and there.

Step 5Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool 15 minutes in pan and then cool on rack.
