This is a fabulous that has a nice citric taste. I don't get to make this very often because of where I live does not have fresh cranberries except for the winter season but when I do, it does not stick around long

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup chopped fresh cranberries
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make cranberry orange bread

Step 1In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg and orange peel.

Step 2Combine the dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with juice. Fold in cranberries and nuts. Pour into a greased 9"x5" loaf pan.

Step 3Bake at 350* for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 4Orange Glaze: Combine orange juice and confectioners sugar until a glaze is formed. Serve with warm bread
