this is not my recipe but one of my favorites out of my cookbook

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup margerine
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 3/4 cup - orange juice, fresh
  • 1 - egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup cranberries(fresh, or frozen) coarsly chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

How To Make cranberry nut bread

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350degrees f. Grease bottom only of a 9 by 5-inch loaf pan.In a lrg bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, an baking soda. Using a pastry blender, cut in margerine until particles are the size of crushed meal. Stir in peel, juice an egg until the dry ingrediances are moistened. Fold in nuts an cranberries. pour into pan an bake 50 min to 60 min . Remove from the pan an cool completely serve ummmmmmm
