Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen
- 1 - egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons almond extract
- TOPPING
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup almonds, slivered
How To Make cranberry almond bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease one loaf pan, or two small loaf pans.

Step 2In large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cranberries.

Step 3In medium size mixing bowl, combine egg, milk, butter, and almond extract. Add to dry ingredients and mix just until moist.

Step 4Spread batter into prepared pan(s), and sprinkle with topping. Bake 1 hour, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
