Ingredients
- - mix together:
- 4 - eggs
- 1 cup oil
- 2 teaspoons coconut flavoring
- 2 cups sugar
- - in another bowl, mix together
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- - glaze:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon coconut flavoring
- 2 teaspoons butter
How To Make coconut bread

Step 1Alternately mix together the dry ingredients into the sugar mixture with 1 cup buttermilk. Then add 1 cup coconut and 1 cup chopped nuts. Bake at 325, for 50 minutes.

Step 2For Glaze: Boil mixture exactly 5 minutes. Pour over baked bread. Let it sit for 4 hours.
