I came up with these this morning and it makes two big loaves and so after they cooled a little I spread some honey butter across a slice. Mercy Me! 8)

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    canola oil
  • 3 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 c
    milk, 2% (can use what ever you normally use)
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 c
    sugar cinnamon mixture
  • 3 small
    banana's

How to Make Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat your oven to 350. Mix up all your ingredients in a standard mixing bowl, except the cinnamon/sugar mixture.
  2. Grease two glass 9 inch loaf pans. Fill each pan 2/3's of the way full. Sprinkle 1/2 of the cinnamon/sugar mixture over the top of each batter. Take a knife and swirl the mixture through out the batter.
  3. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until breads in center are baked. *option- When the breads come out of oven sprinkle powdered sugar over tops of each bread. *Option- You can add nuts to these. I added fresh walnuts from my own trees, sooo good! Enjoy! 8)
