this is some of the best bread for this time of the year it smells so good cooking in the oven and it never lasts long around here

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • STREUSEL TOPPING:
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, cold and cut into 1/2 inch pieces

How To Make cinnamon streusel pumpkin bread

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350.
  • Step 2
    In a medium bowl stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves until well blended.
  • Step 3
    In another bowl beat the eggs with the sugar, oil and pumpkin until smooth.
  • Step 4
    Pour in the flour mixture and beat until smooth.
  • Step 5
    Spray 3 mini loaf pans with cooking spray and evenly distribute the dough between them.
  • Step 6
    For the streusel topping mix the flour, sugar and cinnamon with a fork.
  • Step 7
    Add the butter and using a fork, pastry blender or your fingers crumble the butter into the sugar mixture until you have a crumbly looking mixture.
  • Step 8
    Pour evenly over the 3 pans of pumpkin bread dough and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Step 9
    Allow to cool in pans for a few minutes then remove to a cooling rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
