This bread recipe came from a friend. Its nice and moist, and very cinnamon flavored. Its really good served with cream cheese.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups applesauce, unsweetened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make cinnamon applesauce bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9x5 loaf pan and set aside. Cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg.

Step 2In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture. Beat in the applesauce and vanilla. Fold in the raisins and walnuts.

Step 3Pour into the prepared loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 60-70 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in the pan and then remove, let cool, slice and serve. Good with cream cheese spread.
