bea's churros
This is such a yummy little snack. They're nice for the holidays, a tea party or quite frankly, an anytime snack. I found this recipe in a magazine many years ago.

- 2 cups baking mix, such as bisquick
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 - egg
How To Make bea's churros
-
Step 1Mix all ingredients well. Pour into plastic quart bag, which has been snipped in one corner & a star-shape tip inserted into hole. You don't have to use a tip if you don't have one.
-
Step 2Squeeze straight lines (or desired shapes), about 2" long, into hot oil & brown. My freezer bag split so I scooped out the dough into a bowl and spooned dots of dough into the oil. They are also good.
-
Step 3Remove from oil and sprinkle with: cinnamon sugar, pumpkin pie spice, allspice, powdered sugar or apple pie spice. I especially like mine with powdered sugar. Sometimes I sprinkle with one of these spices plus the powdered sugar.
