I always have to double this. One loaf will disappear in one day.

You could probally make this in your bread machine also.

Ingredients

  • ·
    1 cup sugar
  • ·
    2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • ·
    1 egg, beaten
  • ·
    2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ·
    1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ·
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • ·
    1/2 teaspoon salt
  • ·
    3/4 cup orange juice
  • ·
    1 cup cranberries, chopped
  • ·
    1 cup chopped pecans

How to Make Christmas Loaf

Step-by-Step

  1. Blend sugar, butter and egg together in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients; mix well and pour into a greased 9x5 loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.
