Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bread
TO MAKE INTO BANANA BREAD BISCOTTI
You can omit the glaze on one loaf, using a serrated knife, slice the plain loaf widthwise then slice into 1/2 inch pieces. Lightly brush one side of each slice with honey (about 1/4 cup total) and place on a cooking rack. Bake until golden and crispy, about 30 minutes. Allow too cool on the rack 10 minutes.

1 box15.25 oz. chocolate cake mix
4ripe babanas, mashed
1 1/2 cpeanut butter chips
PEANUT BUTTER GLAZE
1 cconfectioners' sugar
2 Tbsppeanut butter
3 to 4 Tbspwarm milk or water
How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bread
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray two 9 X 5 loaf pans with non stick cooking spray.
- Combine the cake mix, oil, mashed bananas, eggs and 1/2 cup water in a large bowl and mix with a hand mixer or whisk until well blended, about 2 minutes. Fold in peanut butter chips. Evenly divide batter between two loaf pans.
- Bake until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 40 to 50 minutes. Let cool in pans 10 minutes then remove and let cool on cooling rack.
- FOR THE GLAZE.
combine confectioners' sugar peanut butter and 3 tablespoons of the warm milk or water and whisk until smooth. It should be as thick as pancake batter. If it's too thick add a little more liquid.
