chocolate chip banana bread or muffins
I play Mahjong every week with a group of friends. Last week, the hostess served homemade chocolate chip banana bread. It was so good, I had to ask for the recipe. It's easy to make, and oh so delicious!

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 - eggs, well-beaten
- 1 cup bananas, well-ripened (approx. 2-3)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
How To Make chocolate chip banana bread or muffins

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Grease loaf pan. If making muffins, either grease the muffin tins or insert paper cups.

Step 3Mix all ingredients well and put in greased loaf pan or muffin tins.

Step 4Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool. If making muffins, bake for 25-30 minutes. Check after 25 minutes to see if the toothpick comes out clean and dry.

Step 6NOTE: You may use peanut butter chips in place of the semi-sweet chocolate chips, or use a combination of the two. Delicious either way!
