Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 3/4 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    chocolate chips

How to Make Chocolate Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Grease and flour a loaf pan (I use cooking spray and cinnamon sugar). Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cream butter and sugar together. Add in eggs and sour cream, beating until smooth and creamy. Add in dry ingredients and mix until all combined. Stir in Chocolate chips.
  3. Spoon batter into a well greased loaf pan, Gently tap pan on counter to remove any large air bubbles. Bake for 50-55 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
