cherry nut loaf
I have this recipe from a family cookbook, I believe the lady who gets credit is named Debbie. I cut back on the amounts of nuts I use, but it is still very good this way!!

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 cup maraschino cherries
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 tablespoon almond flavoring
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
How To Make cherry nut loaf

Step 1Put dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.

Step 2Beat in the eggs, milk, cherry juice, oil and almond flavoring; beat until smooth.

Step 3Cut the cherries in half and stir into the mixture with the chopped nuts.

Step 4Bake at 350* for about one hour.
