I WAS ALWAYS A LIL SCARED OF BREAD PUDDING. BUT FIGURED ID GIVE IT A GO.....YUMMY!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bread ( any kind)
  • 5 - eggs
  • 3 cans evaporated milk
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How To Make charleys bread pudding

  • Step 1
    PREHEAT OVEN 350 DEGREES
  • Step 2
    CUBE BREAD. IN LARGE BOWL , MIX EGGS, MILKS, SUGAR BUTTER CINNAMON , VANILLA AND SALT. POUR IN 4 QT CASSEROLE DISH BAKE 60 MINUTES.
  • Step 3
    SAUCE: 1/2 CUPS BUTTER MELTED, 1 CUP SUGAR, 1/2 CUP HALF & HALF, 3 TBLS WHISKEY OR RUM. ( I USED PECAN PRALINE LIQUER), IN SMALL PAN ADD SAUCE INGREDIENTS BRING TO A BOIL STIR TO DISSOLVE SUGAR . POUR OVER PUDDING
