Ingredients

1/2 c
butter, softened or oleo
1/3 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp
corn syrup, light
1/3 c
pecans or walnuts
3/4 c
105*-115* warm water
1 pkg
active dry yeast
2 1/2 c
master mix
2 Tbsp
butter, softened
1/4 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp
cinnamon

How to Make Caramel Rolls Use-ing Master Mix

Step-by-Step

  • 1melt butter ; add brown sugar , corn syrup.
  • 2bring syrup mixture to a rolling boil.
  • 3spread in a 8" round layer pan. add the nuts.
  • 4dissolve yeast in warm water.
  • 5mix in the master mix and beat vigorously.
  • 6turn dough onto surface well dusted with master mix.
  • 7knead until smooth , about 20 times
  • 8roll out into rectangle , 16" x 9 ' spread with butter , sugar , cinnamon .
  • 9roll up tightly beginning at wide side.
  • 10seal well by pinching edge of dough into roll.
  • 11slice into 10 slices. place in pan, cover with damp cloth.
  • 12let rise in warm place for about 1 hour . heat oven to 400* bake for 20-25 minutes .invert pan and serve warm rolls
