Ingredients
- 2 bananas
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
- 5-7 soft caramels
How To Make caramel banana bread

Step 1Mash bananas in mixing bowl.

Step 2Melt butter in separate bowl (can microwave for 30 seconds). Mix into banana bowl.

Step 3Beat egg in empty butter bowl. Mix into bananas.

Step 4Mix in both sugars and vanilla.

Step 5Mix in salt and baking powder.

Step 6Mix in chocolate chips.

Step 7Sift flower into banana bowl. Fold into mixture slowly; don't overmix.

Step 8Pour into a greased 9x9 pan.

Step 9Unwrap caramels and pull them apart. Dot the top of the mixture with the caramel.

Step 10Bake for about 40 minutes, or until knife stuck in middle, comes out clean.
