butter almond bread

I got this recipe out of one of my 150 cookbooks a couple years ago. I liked it so much, I made it for every occasion I could think of. Hope you enjoy it too!

Ingredients
- 1 box pillsbury hot roll mix
- 1 tablespoon (heaping) sugar
- 1 stick margarine (or a little more)
- 1 - small carton whipping cream
- 2 1/2 ounces unsalted sliced almonds
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
How To Make butter almond bread

Step 1Make hot roll mix according to directions. Add 1 tablespoon sugar to dough. Roll out dough to fit into a greased 11 x 15" pan. Do not have dough up on sides. Cover; let rise for 30 minutes. Take finger, punch holes close together into dough. In each hole, put a lump of butter. Spread whipped cream on top of dough and butter. Sprinkle on a good amount of sugar over all and put on almonds. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown. OH YUM!!!!
