A year after my husband and I were married, he was transferred to Cookeville, TN. We quickly became friends with a couple who had moved to TN from GA also. Amber didn't enjoy cooking as much as I did so most of the diners were hosted at my house. Amber was determined to find at least one recipe that she could prepare & bring to each party. She zeroed in on a cornbread that her aunt made for her growing up. She MASTERED it & it quickly became what she was known for. Our guests were disappointed if she was unable to attend! She was so gracious to share it with me when we had to move back to GA.
