    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    ground orange peel
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar (for dusting)
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon (for dusting)

How To Make breakfast bread, mark

  • 1
    Cream sugar, orange juice, and 1 tablespoon butter until light. Sift together flour and baking powder and stir the orange peel into them. Add dry ingredients alternately with the milk to creamed mixture, blending well after each addition. Bake in greased 8 inch square pan at 375F for 20-25 minutes. When done, spread top with 1 tablespoon butter and dust with combined sugar and cinnamon. Serve warm
