reg. size cake mix without pudding in the mix (cheap brand ok)
2 pkg
rapid rise yeast
6 1/4 to 6 1/2 cups all purpose flour, divided
1 tsp
2 1/2 c
warm water [120 to 130] degrees
eggs, beaten
1/3 c
vegetable oil
4 stick
margarine, softened
2 c
sugar mixed with 1/2 cup cinnamon
2 c
sifted powdered sugar
1/4 c
1 tsp

How to Make ''Bonnie's Easy Big-Batch Cinnamon Rolls''


  • 1Combine cake mix, yeast, 1 cup of flour, and salt in a large bowl. Stir in water, eggs, and oil. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed of electric mixer.
    Gradually add enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
  • 2Turn dough out on a well floured surface. Knead until smooth and elastic, {About 5 minutes}.
    Cover dough and let rest 10 minutes.
  • 3Divide dough in half and roll each half into a 15 x 14 rectangle and spread each half with 2 sticks of margarine and half of the cinnamon and sugar mixture (or to taste).
  • 4Roll up each rectangle jellyroll fashion, starting at long side, moisten edges with water and pinch to seal. Cut each roll into 1 inch slices.
    Place slices cut side down on two greased 13x9x2 inch pans.
  • 5Cover and let rise in a warm place, free from drafts, about 45 min.
    Rolls will not double in bulk. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
  • 6Combine powdered sugar, milk and vanilla, stirring well. Drizzle over warm rolls.
    Yield about 30 large rolls. Enjoy!!!
    You can use either a white or yellow cake mix.
    Don't use a cake mix that has pudding in.
