How to Make Best Dang Banana Bread
- Mix flour, salt and backing soda
- Mix sugar, buttermilk, extracts, oil, melted cooled butter and eggs. stir in mashed bananas.
- Mix in dry ingredients.
- Grease and flour 4 large loaf pans or about 16 small loaf pans.
- Bake in 375 degree oven for 60-75 minutes for large pans, checking every 5 minutes after 1 hour. Bake 40-45 minutes for small pans checking every 5 minutes after 30 minutes.
- Remove breads from pan while still hot. Return bread to pans. Pur topping over hot bread and let stand 30 minutes.
- TOPPING
Add all topping ingredients to a small pot and bring to a low boil. Cook on low heat until sugar is dissolved.
