I volunteered to make a quick bread for a snack at our garden club. Since the topic was roses, I thought there should be something rosy in the bread - so strawberries!

How To Make berry-walnut bread

  • Step 1

Add berries tossed with 1 tablespoon flour to the batter.
  • Step 6
Add the batter to prepared pan/s and bake until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean about 55 to 65 minutes. About 45 minutes if making mini loaves.
  • Step 7
Let cool 1 hour, then remove the loaf from the pan and transfer to a rack to cool completely.
