beer bread
My mother gave this recipe to me years ago when she lived in Kentucky and I have been making it. This is a sweet bread the recipe called for 1 cup of sugar but I use less and if you want you could even lessen it more.

Ingredients
- 3 cups self rising flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 can beer
How To Make beer bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 and grease a loaf pan

Step 2Mix all together in large bowl, adding the beer last and pouring slowly, the batter will be lumpy that is ok

Step 3Let the batter rest for 5 mins before pouring into loaf pan then bake 40-45 minutes till toothpick comes out clean.
