My family and friends love this recipe,one of my friends even supplies the bananas so I can make it for her then we each get a loaf.

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 1 c
    butter (softened)
  • 2 c
    mashed,ripe bananas(about 4)
  • 6 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 4 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 c
    mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans (optional)

How to Make Banana split banana bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream sugar,eggs and butter until fluffy.
  2. Mix bananas and milk in a separate bowl,set aside.
  3. Sift flour,baking powder and baking soda in a separate bowl.
  4. Add dry ingredients to creamed butter mixture,alternately with bananas,until blended well.Then add chocolate chips and nuts mix well.
  5. Spoon batter into two 5 1/4 x 9 1/4 x 2 3/4-inch greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cool completly on metal racks before you take them out of the pans.Makes 2 loaves
