banana sour cream bread

I've been making this moist banana bread for years now! What I find unique, is the cinnamon and sugar dusting inside the bread pan. It makes several loaves, so you can freeze some or give them as gifts!

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 6 - very ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 - 16 ounce tub sour cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 4 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts, optional
How To Make banana sour cream bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease four 7 x 3 loaf pans. In a small bowl, stir together 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Dust pans lightly with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Set aside.

Step 2In a large bowl, cream butter and 3 cups sugar. Mix in eggs, mashed bananas, sour cream, vanilla and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Stir in salt, baking soda and flour. If desired, fold in walnuts. Divide batter into prepared pans. Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
