Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup dark rum
How To Make banana rum bread

Step 1preheat oven to 350. grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

Step 2in a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Step 3beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing between additions.

Step 4beat in the vanilla extract and mashed bananas until fully incorporated. mix in the flours, baking soda, baking powder and salt. stir in the rum.

Step 5transfer batter to prepared loaf pan and bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Step 6cool loaf in pan for 10 minutes before removing and transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
