    ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2
  • 1/3 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 1/3 c
    canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 c
    white sugar
  • 2 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 2 tsp
    pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tsp
  • 3/4 c
    raisins or walnuts (optional)

How to Make Banana Pumpkin Bread


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  3. In a bowl stir together bananas, eggs, oil, pumpkin, honey and sugar.
  4. In a seperate bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pie spice and cinnamon. Add this mixture into the banana mixture and stir until just combined (do not over stir).
  5. Fold in raisins and walnuts if desired.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
  8. Cool loaf in the pan for 10 minutes before removing from pan onto a wire rack to cool completely.
