Ingredients

ripe bananas, mashed
2
eggs
1/3 c
vegetable oil
1 1/3 c
canned pumpkin puree
1/2 c
honey
1/2 c
white sugar
2 1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
salt
2 tsp
pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp
cinnamon
3/4 c
raisins or walnuts (optional)

How to Make Banana Pumpkin Bread

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • 3In a bowl stir together bananas, eggs, oil, pumpkin, honey and sugar.
  • 4In a seperate bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, pie spice and cinnamon. Add this mixture into the banana mixture and stir until just combined (do not over stir).
  • 5Fold in raisins and walnuts if desired.
  • 6Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  • 7Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
  • 8Cool loaf in the pan for 10 minutes before removing from pan onto a wire rack to cool completely.
