banana nut bread
Everyone in my family loves this banana bread, the aroma of it cooking draws kids of all ages to the kitchen. I use half splenda and half sugar so my father in law can eat a little too as he has diabetes, but it is fine to use all sugar or even all splenda.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup splenda
- 1 stick butter softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup mashed very ripe bananas
How To Make banana nut bread

Step 1pre heat oven to 350'. spray 9x5in loaf pan with cooking spray an set aside.

Step 2combine first 6 ingredients (your dry ingredients) in medium sized mixing bowl

Step 3combine next 6 ingredients (your wet ingredients) in separate mixing bowl

Step 4mash bananas and add to wet ingredients

Step 5combine wet and dry ingredients together, but do not over mix (I just use a wire whisk as it doesn't require a lot of mixing)

Step 6pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 1hr.

Step 7let cool for at least 15min. and enjoy!
