Ingredients

  • 6 large
    ripe banana's mashed
  • 1 c
    margarine, room temperature
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 4
    eggs
  • 4 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    banana extract
  • 1/2 c
    nuts (optional)

How to Make Banana Bread with two Secret's

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large bowl smash banana's.
  2. Add the baking soda to the banana's and mix well. (this tends to spread the soda more evenly throughout the bread)
  3. Add butter, sugar, eggs and banana extract and beat until mixed.
  4. Add flour and mix until flour in completely moistened. Be careful not to over mix.
  5. Add nuts and stir.
  6. Pour in to two large bread pans or four mini bread pans and bake for 1 hour at 350.
