There are many banana bread recipes I have eaten through the years, this one is Mom's from my childhood.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 3 - ripe bananas
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sour milk (see notes)
How To Make banana bread, mom's

Step 1Blend butter and sugar, add egg and mashed bananas. Sift in flour, soda and salt alternately with milk. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees in well greased pan.

Step 2Note: to make sour milk, put 1 T vinegar or lemon juice in the measuring cup, then add milk to fill the 1 cup measure.
