This is by far my all-time favorite banana bread recipe. This produces a deliciously moist and flavorful loaf of banana bread.

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter, room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 - ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- OPTIONAL
- - cinnamon sugar to dust pan
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
How To Make banana bread

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Grease loaf pans (I use cooking spray) and then lightly dust the interior with cinnamon sugar.

Step 3With an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, beating well.

Step 4Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Blend well.

Step 5Add bananas, sour cream, and vanilla.

Step 6Fold in pecans.

Step 7Pour mixture into the prepared pans.

Step 8Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until a cake tester comes out clean.
