This is by far my all time favorite banana bread recipe. This produces a deliciously moist and flavorful loaf of banana bread.

Ingredients

1 stick
butter, room temperature
1 c
sugar
2
eggs
1 1/2 c
flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
2
ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 c
sour cream
1 tsp
vanilla

OPTIONAL:

cinnamon sugar to dust pan
1/2 c
chopped pecans

Step-By-Step

1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2Grease a loaf pan (I use cooking spray) and then lightly dust the interior with cinnamon sugar.
3With an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, beating well.
4Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Blend well. Add bananas, sour cream, vanilla, and pecans.
5Pour mixture into the prepared pan.
6Bake for 1 hour, or until a cake tester comes out clean.
