  • 3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 2 c
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 3-4
    bananas, broken into chunks
  • 4
    eggs, beaten

How to Make Banana Bread


  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Whisk together the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and nutmeg. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, oil, bananas and eggs and beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes. Then add the flour mixture and stir until moistened.
  4. Pour into 2 greased 5x9 loaf pans and bake for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  5. **This is optional** Wait for loaves to cool down some then top with your favorite icing.
