1 3/4 call purpose flour
1 1/2 csugar
2ripe med. bananas, mashed 1 cup
1/2 cvegetable oil
1/4 cplus 1 tablespoon buttermilk
1 tspvanilla extract
1 cchopped walnuts
1 tspbaking soda
How to Make Banana Bread
- In a large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt.
- In another mixing bowl, combine eggs, banana, oil, buttermilk and vanilla; add to flour mixture. Stirring just until combined; fold in nuts.
- Pour into a greased 9 X 5 X 3-inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until bread tests done. Cool on a wire rack.
