  • 3-4
    ripe or little over ripe bananas smashed
  • 1/3 c
    melted butter or marg.
  • 1 c
  • 1
    egg beaten
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour

How to Make Banana bread


  1. preheat the oven to 350, in a large mixing bowl mix butter into the mashed bananas
  2. mix in sugar, eggs, and vanilla, sprinkle the baking soda over the mixture and mix in, add the flour, mix well, pour mixture into a buttered or cooking sprayed 4x8 inch loaf pan, bake 1 hour, cool on rack, remove from pan and slice to serve.
