Ingredients

  • 3 - large ripe bananas
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 - egg
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

How To Make banana bread

  • Step 1
    Set oven at 325 degrees Grease bread pan
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl mash bananas, sugar, egg and butter. In a separate bowl mix flour, salt, baking soda and optional pecans or walnuts.
  • Step 3
    Add flour mixture to banana mixture and combine well. Pour into bread pan and bake for 55 - 60 minutes.
