Ingredients

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 stick
    softened butter
  • 3
    old, brown, mushy bananas
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 1/4 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    loaf pan, greased and sprinkled with sugar. reserve some sugar to sprinkle on top before baking
  • ·
    add nuts, if desired

How to Make Banana Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Mash bananas. In a separate bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, and stir into bananas.
  2. Lightly mix in all dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. Pour into pan, bake for 1 hour or until done. Test with knife.
