My Mom's recipe from when I was a kid. The smell of it baking fills up the whole house, and takes me back to being 10-years old. I love that food can hold such strong memories.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 3 large very ripe bananas
How To Make banana bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Grease & flour 9x5x3-in loaf pan or two 8.5x4.5x2.5 loaf pans.

Step 2Measure all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed for 1-2 minutes, scraping side and bottom of bowl constantly.

Step 3Pour into pan(s). Bake 50-60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. After it has sat for a few minutes, remove the loaf from the pan and cool completely before slicing.
