My Mom's recipe from when I was a kid. The smell of it baking fills up the whole house, and takes me back to being 10-years old. I love that food can hold such strong memories.

2 1/2 call purpose flour

1 csugar

3 1/2 tspbaking powder

1 tspsalt

3 Tbspvegetable oil

3/4 cmilk

1 lgegg

1 tsppumpkin pie spice

3 lgvery ripe bananas
How To Make banana bread

1Preheat oven to 350. Grease & flour 9x5x3-in loaf pan or two 8.5x4.5x2.5 loaf pans.

2Measure all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed for 1-2 minutes, scraping side and bottom of bowl constantly.

3Pour into pan(s). Bake 50-60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. After it has sat for a few minutes, remove the loaf from the pan and cool completely before slicing.
