Ingredients
- 1 cup sifted flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 - egg, well beaten
- 1 cup bran, shredded
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 - bananas, thinly sliced
How To Make banana bran bread

Step 1Sift in dry ingredients.

Step 2Cream shortening, add sugar gradually, cream well.

Step 3Add egg, bran and milk.

Step 4Mix and allow to stand while slicing bananas, stirring as little as possible.

Step 5Bake in small bread pan in upper part of oven.

Step 6Bake at 350 degrees for 45 - 60 minutes.
