  • 1 c
    butter (2 sticks) room temp
  • 2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 1/4 c
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 2 tsp
  • 4
    eggs, beaten
  • 2 c
    banana's, smashed (approx 6)
  • 3 medium
    apples, peeled, seeded and cubed
  • 1-2 c
    walnuts, chopped
  • 5 c
    all purpose flour, sifted
  • 3 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp

How to Make Banana Apple Walnut Bread


  1. In a large mixing bowl place room temp butter and smashed bananas. Start mixing on low. Add sugar, milk, lemon juice, vanilla, eggs, apple and walnuts. Mix till well combined.
  2. In separate bowl sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  3. Add dry ingredients to cream mixture a little at a time till all is added and mix just until combined.
  4. Spoon into three (3) 9x5 loaf pans, fill sprayed with non stick spray, fill about halfway up. Bake on middle rack for 50-60 min. or till a knife is inserted in the middle and comes out clean.
