Just another variation on Banana Bread, but oh so yummy.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter (2 sticks) room temp
  • 2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 4 - eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups banana's, smashed (approx 6)
  • 3 medium apples, peeled, seeded and cubed
  • 1-2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 5 cups all purpose flour, sifted
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How To Make banana apple walnut bread

  • Step 1
    In a large mixing bowl place room temp butter and smashed bananas. Start mixing on low. Add sugar, milk, lemon juice, vanilla, eggs, apple and walnuts. Mix till well combined.
  • Step 2
    In separate bowl sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  • Step 3
    Add dry ingredients to cream mixture a little at a time till all is added and mix just until combined.
  • Step 4
    Spoon into three (3) 9x5 loaf pans, fill sprayed with non stick spray, fill about halfway up. Bake in 350º oven on middle rack for 50-60 min. or till a knife is inserted in the middle and comes out clean.
