Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup apple
- 1 - banana
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make banana apple bread

Step 1Cream shortening; gradually add sugar, beating well.

Step 2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Step 3Stir in peeled and finely chopped apple and mashed banana.

Step 4Combine flour, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture, stirring until blended.

Step 5Spoon batter into a greased and floured loaf pan.

Step 6Bake at 350 for 1 hour our until a wooden pick comes out clean.

Step 7Cool in pan for 10 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
