This is a very special bread that i made for our Church Arts and Craft Fair this year 2012. I make this for us at home all the time. I use different berries, I like to use currants and Craisins. This time, I used Craisins infused in pomegranate juice with orange zest and Grand Marnier. With all of these flavors infused it was the perfect touch. Of course, we had to try some of it out before we took any over and OMG!! It was to DIE FOR! Thumbs up from mom.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

While this bread baked, the Test Kitchen was filled with the aroma of Autumn. The melted butter gives a nice crunchy crust to this bread. It's moist and a hint of orange flavor from the zest and Grand Mariner. I loved the pop of sweetness from the Craisins. You taste fall in every bite. It's delightful!

It is great toasted with butter or apple butter. It also Is great if you use the orange and make a nice glaze and pour over it.
