I love my Aunt Edna and her banana bread recipe. I think of her every time I make it. She is 86 now and I know she would be tickled pink just knowing I shared it with all of you.

    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 c

  • 2 c
    bananas, mashed
  • 1 c
    crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 c
  • 1 c
    pecans or walnuts, chopped

How to Make Aunt Edna's Banana Bread


  1. Combine dry ingredients, mix well. Add wet ingredients and mix well. Pour batter into 2 greased loaf pans.
  2. Bake 350F for 55 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean.
  3. ****I had enough batter to make a small mini loaf.
