This is an easy sweet bread that everyone just loves.Flavors are best when the bananas are rather ripe but not mushy.

Makes two nice size loaves. Eat one - freeze or give away the other.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 4 - eggs
- 4 - bananas, mashed-see below *
- 3-1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 - chopped banana -*

Step 1Cream butter & sugar; add vanilla, lemon juice and eggs..beat well. Stir in mashed bananas. mix well. Sift dry ingredients and add to wet mixture. Add sour cream and chopped banana.

Step 2Grease and flour two loaf pans. Divide mixture into the prepared pans. Bake 350 degrees for approx. 1 hr. Cool on rack.
